Answering the Call

 Answering the call...

Have you heard the call? Would you like to answer the call? There are many different ways in that God may be calling you to service, for Him - it might be teaching Sunday School at your local corps, volunteering at a shelter or to help in disaster work, even participating in the corps weekly programs. Many people feel their call to be a life-altering experience.  They feel that their place in ministry is working 24/7 as an Officer in The Salvation Army. You might be thinking, "Yes, I feel the call, but I have goals in life...I have a good career...I'm afraid... There are many opportunities in The Salvation Army to develop yourself and better your weaknesses. Talk to your corps officer (church pastor)about overcoming your obstacles so that you may go on to serve God faithfully.

Would you like to see testimonies from Cadets? Please look to the right side of the various pages throughout our website to view Candidate testimonies!

Not sure where your nearest Salvation Army Corps (church) is located? You can find the nearest location by typing in your zip code.

If you are looking for ways to prepare yourself and/or get involved in The Salvation Army, feel free to visit Resources, also located at the top of the page.
